Recently, I completed a multi-paneled work for my newest nephew. It measures out at 20 inches tall and 64 inches wide, it’s done in watercolor and ink (with a special guest appearance from white chalk), and it is one piece in four parts:
It goes from “Let there be light…”
…to “I have set my rainbow in the clouds.”
And in-between there are a lot of animals:
Fruit eating:
Lots and lots of water:
And a family gathering:
I know that a three-paneled work is called a triptych and the internet tells me that anything with more than three panels is called a polyptych, so I call this one “Polyptych”.
